Retail Businesses
The Peace Arch Hospital Auxiliary Society has two retail businesses that are operated by volunteers – the Gift Shop and the Superfluity Thrift Shop. In addition to that, there are many smaller, but very important services that are performed on a regular basis by our members. These services contribute to patient comforts in both Acute and Residential Care.
Gift Shop
The hospital Gift Shop is currently closed, but we have added an online store for our baby knit items. All proceeds from the gift shop go towards patient comforts at Peace Arch Hospital.
Thrift Shop
This thrift shop offers a wide variety of items for sale. The shop is run entirely by members of the Peace Arch Hospital Auxiliary Society. The members generously volunteer their time to keep the store running smoothly.
What We Do
You may know us for working hard at the Superfluity Thrift shop, or at the Hospital Gift shop, but you may not know about the many acts of kindness that happen throughout the hospital and the community. Even within each group, there are things that our members do that other members do not know about. There are so many thoughtful, helpful, vibrant, loving, selfless and passionate members in the Auxiliary Society.

Caring Hearts
The Caring Hearts program, initiated six years ago by Volunteer Resources and funded by our Auxiliary, exemplifies true compassion by providing critical support to patients struggling to transition back to everyday life post-hospitalization.

No matter how big or small, acts of kindness make a difference to the care people receive at PAH.
Maternity
Highlighted by a $1,000,000 donation for renovations in 2010 the Peace Arch Hospital Auxiliary has been supporting women, babies, and their families for generations at the Peace Arch Hospital maternity unit.
Market Place Program
It can be difficult for people in living in care to access some of the pleasures that we all take for granted. Simple things like going to the local corner store, on a whim, to satisfy an insatiable sweet tooth as needed is often not possible.
Long Term Care
We take great pride in offering a wide range of resident comforts for individuals living in care at Peace Arch Hospital. Our contributions mean that people have increased opportunities for quality recreation and social pursuits as well as an enhanced living environment.
The Cozy Cart
We provide freshly steeped tea and hot chocolate on select units by specially trained volunteers. Sounds simple, but it provides many benefits and is one of our most successful programs.
